I have a great love for my home, be it just my hometown of Kansas City or a bit more macro with the United States of America, but I have always found myself having to defend my home against the very people that lived there.   People were always saying things like "there is nothing to do here" or "this place isn't pretty" or some other completely incomprehensible sentiment that disparages the person's hometown or country!   After years of mounting a defense of the beauty of my home, I realized that I can do a lot more by showing people the beauty around them.   With that in mind I purchased a film camera and started to study the art form.  I still remember the first photo I took that really hooked me on photography and created my love of photography.  I have spent many years combining my passion for exploring and my love photography to create works that will hopefully inspire people to explore and learn about their hometown and country.

So please enjoy my photographs, and don't hesitate to send me a message if you have questions, were looking for something else, or just want to say you liked my photos.
